Lemon 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Lemon in Maputo: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.92 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: lemon in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lemon 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
We run lemon the same way in Maputo: same 60 ml bottle, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested lemon in a 60 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.92 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
