Lemon 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Lemon in Maputo: 9 units tested over 6 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Lemon is allowed to say
If you are looking at lemon in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 60 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Lemon sounds like one product. It is not: a 60 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: lemon in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lemon 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
A lemon 60 ml bottle from the cheapest options in Mozambique costs about MT2.7 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested lemon in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 60 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for lemon in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does lemon in a 60 ml bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 6 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a 60 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.7 per 10 ml liquid plus MT55 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On lemon the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.7 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
