Iced starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Iced in Maputo: 18 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
Iced starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced starter kit really costs in Maputo
Iced in Maputo reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested iced in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where iced goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does iced in a starter kit last?
In Maputo we measured 4 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is iced legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.95 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
