Iced starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Iced in Maputo: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Iced is allowed to say
If you are looking at iced in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Iced sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced starter kit really costs in Maputo
Iced sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested iced in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where iced goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.18 per 10 ml.
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT43 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.18 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Is iced legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
How long does iced in a starter kit last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
