Iced refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Iced in Maputo: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
If you are looking at iced in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.99 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a iced refill pack really costs in Maputo
Iced in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested iced in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where iced goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for iced in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

How long does iced in a refill pack last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
