Iced prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Iced in Maputo: 15 units tested over 4 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Iced in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Iced prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a iced prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.97 per 10 ml.
How we tested iced in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where iced goes wrong
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Maputo survives.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for iced in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
