Iced pen device IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Iced in Maputo: 8 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
The honest read on iced: 8 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Iced pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced pen device really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested iced in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where iced goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.3 per 10 ml.
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |

| Entry kit | MT67 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.3 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
