Iced nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Iced in Maputo: 19 units tested over 9 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the iced habit
We run iced the same way in Maputo: same nicotine salt bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on iced: 19 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced nicotine salt bottle really costs in Maputo
Iced nicotine salt bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested iced in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where iced goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.14 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |

| Entry kit | MT33 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.14 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.14 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
