Iced nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Iced in Maputo: 22 units tested over 7 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Iced nicotine salt bottle here
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.14 per 10 ml.
We run iced the same way in Maputo: same nicotine salt bottle, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced nicotine salt bottle really costs in Maputo
The honest read on iced: 22 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested iced in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where iced goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for iced in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.14 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
