Iced 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Iced in Maputo: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Iced 100 ml bottle here
If you are looking at iced in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 100 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A iced 100 ml bottle from the discounted options in Mozambique costs about MT1.98 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, 100 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a iced 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
We run iced the same way in Maputo: same 100 ml bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested iced in a 100 ml bottle
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where iced goes wrong
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
