Honey pen device IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Honey in Maputo: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Honey is allowed to say
If you are looking at honey in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run honey the same way in Maputo: same pen device, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a honey pen device really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested honey in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every honey bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where honey goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Entry kit | MT39 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.15 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
