Honey box mod IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Honey in Maputo: 21 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Honey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.9 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long honey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a honey box mod really costs in Maputo
A honey box mod from the value options in Mozambique costs about MT1.9 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested honey in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every honey bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where honey goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.9 per 10 ml.
