Guava zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Guava in Maputo: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What guava costs in Maputo
We run guava the same way in Maputo: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.6 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested guava in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where guava goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
