Guava sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Guava in Maputo: 15 units tested over 6 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a sub-ohm kit for guava
We run guava the same way in Maputo: same sub-ohm kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on guava: 15 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested guava in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where guava goes wrong
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT38 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.62 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
Is guava legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
How long does guava in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Maputo we measured 6 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
