Guava squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Guava in Maputo: 22 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with guava in Mozambique
The honest read on guava: 22 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Guava sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Guava sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested guava in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.64 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does guava in a squonk mod last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On guava the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.64 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
