Guava RDA IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Guava in Maputo: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a RDA for guava
Guava RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: guava in Maputo works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava RDA really costs in Maputo
We run guava the same way in Maputo: same RDA, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested guava in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where guava goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised MT34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.12 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Entry kit | MT34 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.12 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
