Guava prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Guava in Maputo: 15 units tested over 4 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Guava prefilled pod here
Guava sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Guava prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: guava in Maputo works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
We run guava the same way in Maputo: same prefilled pod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested guava in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where guava goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in Maputo survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for guava in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Guava | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | prefilled pod | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 15 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT62 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.84 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On guava the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.84 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
How long does guava in a prefilled pod last?
In Maputo we measured 4 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
