Guava prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Guava in Maputo: 22 units tested over 3 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Guava prefilled pod here
Guava prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A guava prefilled pod from the starter options in Mozambique costs about MT2.03 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a guava prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at guava in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested guava in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for guava in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
