Guava prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Guava in Maputo: 6 units tested over 4 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Guava is allowed to say
Guava prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: guava in Maputo works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
Guava in Maputo reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested guava in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where guava goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Guava | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | prefilled pod | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 6 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT63 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.34 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does guava in a prefilled pod last?
In Maputo we measured 4 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On guava the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.34 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
