Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
We run guava the same way in Maputo: same prefilled pod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Guava in Maputo reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: guava in Maputo works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
We run guava the same way in Maputo: same prefilled pod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested guava in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where guava goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.58 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.58 per 10 ml liquid plus MT32 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does guava in a prefilled pod last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
