Guava cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Guava in Maputo: 11 units tested over 8 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Guava cartomizer here
Guava cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A guava cartomizer from the reviewed options in Mozambique costs about MT1.71 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava cartomizer really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at guava in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested guava in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where guava goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in Maputo survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does guava in a cartomizer last?
In Maputo we measured 8 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On guava the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.71 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
