Guava box mod IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Guava in Maputo: 16 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.95 per 10 ml.
Guava in Maputo reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: guava in Maputo works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava box mod really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested guava in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Guava | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | box mod | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 16 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT40 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.95 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.95 per 10 ml liquid plus MT40 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does guava in a box mod last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
