Graphite vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Graphite in Maputo: 9 units tested over 7 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What graphite costs in Maputo
Graphite in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.98 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long graphite tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a graphite vape pen really costs in Maputo
A graphite vape pen from the online options in Mozambique costs about MT2.98 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested graphite in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for graphite in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.98 per 10 ml liquid plus MT40 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should graphite start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
