Graphite vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Graphite in Maputo: 22 units tested over 2 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good vape pen from a repack
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: graphite in Maputo works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite vape pen really costs in Maputo
We run graphite the same way in Maputo: same vape pen, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested graphite in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.83 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long graphite in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Graphite | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | vape pen | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 22 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT53 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.83 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
How long does graphite in a vape pen last?
In Maputo we measured 2 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should graphite start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
