Graphite vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Graphite in Maputo: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the graphite habit
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you are looking at graphite in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long graphite tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a graphite vape pen really costs in Maputo
Graphite vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested graphite in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Mixing graphite with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why graphite tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.57 per 10 ml liquid plus MT30 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should graphite start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
