Graphite squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Graphite in Maputo: 23 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What graphite costs in Maputo
The honest read on graphite: 23 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: graphite in Maputo works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Graphite sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested graphite in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.78 per 10 ml.
- Mixing graphite with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for graphite in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
