Graphite prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Graphite in Maputo: 20 units tested over 5 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good prefilled pod from a repack
Graphite prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

The short version: graphite in Maputo works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested graphite in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long graphite in Maputo survives.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Graphite | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | prefilled pod | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 20 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT29 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.8 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.8 per 10 ml liquid plus MT29 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
