Graphite nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Graphite in Maputo: 19 units tested over 9 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with graphite in Mozambique
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.23 per 10 ml.
The short version: graphite in Maputo works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite nicotine salt bottle really costs in Maputo
We run graphite the same way in Maputo: same nicotine salt bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested graphite in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long graphite in Maputo survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for graphite in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
