Graphite 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Graphite in Maputo: 24 units tested over 5 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
If you are looking at graphite in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 60 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Graphite in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: graphite in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.83 per 10 ml.
How we tested graphite in a 60 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long graphite in Maputo survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why graphite tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does graphite in a 60 ml bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 5 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
Is graphite legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
