Graphite 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Graphite in Maputo: 15 units tested over 3 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the graphite habit
The honest read on graphite: 15 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.75 per 10 ml.
The short version: graphite in Maputo works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
A graphite 100 ml bottle from the flat-rate options in Mozambique costs about MT2.75 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested graphite in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised MT52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.75 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On graphite the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.75 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.

Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
