Grapey squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Grapey in Maputo: 13 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Grapey squonk mod here
Grapey in Maputo reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The honest read on grapey: 13 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a grapey squonk mod really costs in Maputo
We run grapey the same way in Maputo: same squonk mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested grapey in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in Maputo survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.61 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
