Grapey squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Grapey in Maputo: 21 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
We run grapey the same way in Maputo: same squonk mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.82 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a grapey squonk mod really costs in Maputo
We run grapey the same way in Maputo: same squonk mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested grapey in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.82 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.82 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Is grapey legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
