Grapey RDA IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Grapey in Maputo: 19 units tested over 5 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
Grapey RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Grapey RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a grapey RDA really costs in Maputo
We run grapey the same way in Maputo: same RDA, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested grapey in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in Maputo survives.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.95 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
