Grapey pen device IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Grapey in Maputo: 8 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Grapey pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: grapey in Maputo works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey pen device really costs in Maputo
Grapey in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested grapey in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.77 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for grapey in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Grapey | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | pen device | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 8 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT59 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.77 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
