Grapey pen device IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Grapey in Maputo: 24 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Grapey pen device here
Grapey pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run grapey the same way in Maputo: same pen device, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a grapey pen device really costs in Maputo
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.27 per 10 ml.
How we tested grapey in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.27 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for grapey in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does grapey in a pen device last?
In Maputo we measured 2 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.

Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.27 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
