Grapey 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Grapey in Maputo: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Grapey is allowed to say
Grapey sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run grapey the same way in Maputo: same 100 ml bottle, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a grapey 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
A grapey 100 ml bottle from the reviewed options in Mozambique costs about MT3.52 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested grapey in a 100 ml bottle
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
