Grapey 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Grapey in Maputo: 14 units tested over 3 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.98 per 10 ml.
The short version: grapey in Maputo works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Grapey in a 100 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested grapey in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.98 per 10 ml.
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.98 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
