Frozen zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Frozen in Maputo: 22 units tested over 8 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with frozen in Mozambique
Frozen in a zero-nicotine bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.98 per 10 ml.
The short version: frozen in Maputo works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Maputo
We run frozen the same way in Maputo: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested frozen in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for zero-nicotine bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.98 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
How long does frozen in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 8 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.98 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
