Frozen refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Frozen in Maputo: 11 units tested over 2 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
If you are looking at frozen in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: frozen in Maputo works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen refill pack really costs in Maputo
The honest read on frozen: 11 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested frozen in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long frozen in Maputo survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.81 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.81 per 10 ml liquid plus MT48 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
