Frozen RDA IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Frozen in Maputo: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the frozen habit
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.41 per 10 ml.
Frozen in Maputo reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen RDA really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at frozen in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested frozen in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.41 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.41 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should frozen start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
