Frozen RDA IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Frozen in Maputo: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Frozen in Maputo reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen RDA really costs in Maputo
A frozen RDA from the pre-order options in Mozambique costs about MT1.8 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested frozen in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
