Frozen RDA IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Frozen in Maputo: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a RDA for frozen
A frozen RDA from the best options in Mozambique costs about MT2.06 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: frozen in Maputo works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

How we tested frozen in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Mixing frozen with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
