Frozen prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Frozen in Maputo: 17 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A frozen prefilled pod from the cheapest options in Mozambique costs about MT2.77 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Frozen in Maputo reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a frozen prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
Frozen prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested frozen in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.77 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does frozen in a prefilled pod last?
In Maputo we measured 2 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.77 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
