Frozen nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Frozen in Maputo: 15 units tested over 7 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A frozen nicotine salt bottle from the flat-rate options in Mozambique costs about MT2.78 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: frozen in Maputo works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen nicotine salt bottle really costs in Maputo
Frozen in Maputo reaches the shelf in nicotine salt bottle formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested frozen in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing frozen with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is frozen legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.78 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
