Frozen nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Frozen in Maputo: 14 units tested over 5 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with frozen in Mozambique
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Frozen in Maputo reaches the shelf in nicotine salt bottle formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen nicotine salt bottle really costs in Maputo
We run frozen the same way in Maputo: same nicotine salt bottle, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested frozen in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.92 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.92 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does frozen in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 5 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
