Frozen mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Frozen in Maputo: 7 units tested over 4 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a mesh tank for frozen
If you are looking at frozen in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: frozen in Maputo works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen mesh tank really costs in Maputo
A frozen mesh tank from the reviewed options in Mozambique costs about MT2.33 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested frozen in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.33 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should frozen start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
