Frozen e-liquid bundle IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Frozen in Maputo: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, e-liquid bundle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the frozen habit
If you are looking at frozen in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the e-liquid bundle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on frozen: 20 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: frozen in Maputo works if the e-liquid bundle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen e-liquid bundle really costs in Maputo
Frozen in Maputo reaches the shelf in e-liquid bundle formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested frozen in a e-liquid bundle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the e-liquid bundle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a e-liquid bundle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing frozen with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.08 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the e-liquid bundle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
Is frozen legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.08 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
