Fig zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Fig in Maputo: 17 units tested over 8 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Fig is allowed to say
If you are looking at fig in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the zero-nicotine bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run fig the same way in Maputo: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: fig in Maputo works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Maputo
The honest read on fig: 17 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested fig in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for zero-nicotine bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where fig goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long fig in Maputo survives.
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.17 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
