Fig zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Fig in Maputo: 21 units tested over 3 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good zero-nicotine bottle from a repack
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
A fig zero-nicotine bottle from the budget options in Mozambique costs about MT2.11 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: fig in Maputo works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Maputo
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.11 per 10 ml.
How we tested fig in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for zero-nicotine bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where fig goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.11 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long fig in Maputo survives.
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How much does a zero-nicotine bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.11 per 10 ml liquid plus MT66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
