Fig vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Fig in Maputo: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a vape pen for fig
Fig in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A fig vape pen from the starter options in Mozambique costs about MT2.61 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: fig in Maputo works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig vape pen really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested fig in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
Where fig goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.61 per 10 ml liquid plus MT60 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is fig legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
